You must present a valid driver's license issued at least one year ago, your passport or identity document, and the security deposit.

You can normally drive with a valid, legible foreign license during the period authorized in Costa Rica. If it does not use Latin characters, we recommend also carrying an international permit or official translation.

Yes. One additional driver is included at no extra charge and must present a license that meets the same requirements.

Yes. Your quote shows the total based on the vehicle, dates, locations and selected options. We do not add hidden charges when the vehicle is delivered.

We accept cash payments in US dollars, Costa Rican colones or euros. We also accept the cards indicated during the booking process.

Yes. Rates decrease according to rental length, and special conditions are available for rentals of 61 days or longer.

Yes, provided the vehicle remains available. Contact us before the return date to confirm the extension and its price.

The rate includes CDW for the rental vehicle and FTPL for extended third-party liability. Mandatory TPL is also part of the required protection and is not shown as a separate booking option.

It is the maximum amount the customer may be responsible for in the event of covered damage. The standard deductible is USD 500, subject to the coverage conditions.

It is an optional protection that reduces the deductible to zero for damage covered under the selected protection. It does not cover negligence or situations excluded by the rental conditions.

The refundable deposit is USD 500 for every vehicle. It can be provided by credit card or cash and is returned or released according to the rental conditions.

Yes. You may select different locations. Depending on the places selected, a delivery or return fee may apply and will appear in your quote.

We coordinate the time using your flight information and meet you at the agreed point with a sign bearing your name. This is why entering your flight number when booking is important.

Rentals are calculated in 24-hour periods. A limited grace period applies; a later return may result in an additional day charge. Contact us in advance if you need to change the time.

Yes. Our rentals include unlimited mileage for travel within Costa Rica.

No. The vehicles and their insurance coverage are not authorized to cross Costa Rica's borders.

Do not move the vehicle unless safety requires it. Contact emergency services and 2Ride, share your location and follow the instructions to document the incident correctly.

Yes. Our current fleet consists of automatic-transmission vehicles.

It depends on your itinerary. Many main routes are accessible with a 4x2, but a 4x4 can be useful for rural roads, steep terrain or destinations with more demanding access.

When renting for 15 days or more, you may receive one free night at one of our participating accommodations, subject to availability. Mention that you want to use the benefit when booking.
